Youth Process Group is an age-specific online processing group from ages 12 to 17. We meet every Monday night from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. BreakOUT is a supportive space for participants to navigate the everyday stressors in their lives. Group leaders facilitate discussions about various topics and activities such as identity, school/ home life, and more. BreakOUTs mission is to involve and engage with young LGBTQIA+ community members, allowing them to explore new strategies to cope as well as connect with their queer identity in a safe space with their peers. Study With Pride is a tutoring group for LGBTQQIA+ youth. Youth are invited to stop by for homework help and tutoring on topics, such as math, science, and writing. Everyone is welcomed to also hang out, socialize and take a break from school! We also offer a discord server for youth to hang out, post memes, and ask for help with school work, for more information contact the facilitator.
It is a social group for young adults that identify as queer men. The objective of this group is to provide young adults with a safe and welcoming space, where they can meet friends and participate in engaging discussions, activities, and community events.
Cisn’t is a closed social space for transgender, intersex, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and questioning youth 13-18. The purpose of this group is to create a supportive and inclusive environment in which one’s gender may be freely expressed and respected. Given that the majority of transgender students feel unsafe in school, it is important to provide a safe and welcoming environment that caters to the direct needs of transgender youth. Two adult group facilitators offer discussion topics relating to the transgender community while leaving space for youth to connect with peers and participate in engaging activities and community events, such as Transgender Day of Visibility, OC Trans Pride, and Transgender Day of Remembrance.
The senior program is starting a grief and loss support group for anyone 55+. Grief is a normal and natural reaction when dealing with bereavement. A person can experience loss due to a passing of a loved one, a breakup, divorce or any other types of loss you may have experienced. Join us as we offer support and encourage one another to share our stories in a safe and welcoming environment.
OUTlet is intended to create a safe space for youth to talk about mental health issues, create healthy relationships with others, and learn tools to understand, manage, and decrease symptoms of mental health. This group will teach youth how to build insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and learn how to communicate their needs and wants in a healthy assertive manner. Lastly, with an emphasis on maladaptive coping skills including self-medicating with substances, isolating, or engaging in risky behaviors, youth will learn to develop coping skills needed to manage symptoms on a long-term basis. OUTlet meets hybridly (in-person & online) every Thursday at 4:30-6:30.
The Elevate Program creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to increase their advocacy and leadership skills. Through a trauma-informed, health-centered and asset-based approach, youth leaders will work to effect transformative and peer-led policy, systems and environmental change in Orange County. Youth leaders work to identify healthy alternatives to suspension/expulsion related to substance use. Ultimately, LGBTQ Center OC is committed to ending the school-to-prison pipeline and transforming the pipeline to restorative justice, healing and rehabilitation through their Elevate Program. Elevate Program Goals: Reframe substance abuse as a public health issue Combat the detrimental impacts from the War on Drugs on BIPOC/LGBTQ communities Provide trauma-informed counseling and process groups at no cost Raise awareness through social media campaigns, activities, and events
In collaboration with Shanti Orange County, we offer a social-drop in group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning and allied youth ages 13-18. South County Rainbow Group provides social, interactive, and educational group activities and events in South County and the greater Orange County area. Youth are able to connect with their peers in a safe and supportive environment facilitated by LGBTQ Center OC staff and adult mentor facilitators.
InBetweeners provides a safe and supportive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and allied youth (or “tweens”) ages 10-13. It offers a social space for middle school youth who are exploring their identity and provides an inclusive environment for them to meet other peers and engage in fun activities and discussions suitable for their age group. Activities include arts and crafts, creative writing, discussions, movie nights, and group-building activities.
The Women’s Process Group is an intimate and safe space for adult women-identified individuals. Group members come together to explore issues surrounding themselves, current events, and gain community and support from each other.

ProjectYou is excited to bring you our Bloom Together Event, on Saturday, March 25th! Join us at Center on 4th from 11am-1pm, to learn about the benefits of plants, flowers, and nature on our overall mental health & wellbeing. Whether you are plant-expert or just curious on how to get started, we are dedicating time to learn how developing a green thumb can help manage our minds and emotions. The event will include a quick workshop/tutorial on plant care and its benefits to our health and we will conclude with a fun gardening activity. Soil, planter, and seeds will be provided, all we ask is for you to bring a happy attitude :) To ensure proper allocation of materials, we ask that everyone attending registers ahead of time by Tuesday, March 21st.

The Elevate Program creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to increase their advocacy and leadership skills. Through a trauma-informed, health-centered and asset-based approach, youth leaders will work to effect transformative and peer-led policy, systems and environmental change in Orange County. Youth leaders work to identify healthy alternatives to suspension/expulsion related to substance use. Ultimately, LGBTQ Center OC is committed to ending the school-to-prison pipeline and transforming the pipeline to restorative justice, healing and rehabilitation through their Elevate Program. Elevate Program Goals: Reframe substance abuse as a public health issue Combat the detrimental impacts from the War on Drugs on BIPOC/LGBTQ communities Provide trauma-informed counseling and process groups at no cost Raise awareness through social media campaigns, activities, and events
Come join our bilingual Spanish/English group Café con Community! This group is intended to provide a safe space for Latino/a & LGBTQ+ identifying persons ages 18-25 wanting to process issues related to their Latino/a identity and how this impacts their experience in the U.S. This group aims to create a sense of community and teach insight promoting healthy coping strategies and interpersonal relationships.

This event is open to everyone who wants to connect, share, and celebrate the Trans community in a safe and welcoming space. The theme of the event is "Stand in Your Truth," and we are excited to provide wellness and educational resources, along with an open mic where community members can sign up and share their poetry, writing, speeches, or experiences. We encourage all spoken artists to lean into the theme for inspiration and explore the many ways it speaks to their own experiences.
