“Stand with Trans” Demonstration

Anaheim Convention Center 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA, United States

The LGBTQ Center OC is organizing a demonstration rally on Saturday, October 8th at the Anaheim Convention Center. Please help us spread the word so we can show Orange County transgender and non-binary youth that they are loved and supported! We recognize the American Academy of Pediatrics’ (AAP) contributions to gender-affirming care, which is life-saving and improves the mental health and overall well-being of trans youth. We want to stand with AAP as we continue to fight for equity and justice for trans youth and the larger community!  This is a call to action for all Trans-affirming healthcare providers, community-based organizations, schools, and parents of trans youth. We suggest for participants to wear pink, white, or light blue in solidarity with the trans community and to bring signage in support!
