South County Breaking Binaries (Ages 13-18)

Breaking Binaries is a social drop-in group for transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and gender-quesitoning youth ages 13-18. The purpose of this group is to create a supportive and inclusive environment in which one's gender may be freely espressed and respected. We invite youth to connect with peers and participants in engaging activities and community events.

Homecoming

You are invited to join us for our 2023 Homecoming! To kick off 2023, we extend an invitation to youth, students, parents, families, and community members to join us and visit our organization, unite with community, and learn more about our Advocacy, Education, and Youth Programs at the LGBTQ Center OC. We are thrilled to share about our Youth and Young Adult programming, information our about organization, and how you can get involved in more LGBTQIA+ advocacy-related efforts across Orange County! Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. Please RSVP so we can prepare accordingly! Parking is available on the street or in our parking lot on a first come, first serve basis.

GenderFlood (Ages 18-26)

Gender Flood is a social drop-in group for transgender, genderqueer, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and gender-questioning young adults ages 18-26. This is a wonderful group to meet other transgender and gender non-conforming peers from throughout Orange County. Get involved, meet others, and participate in engaging weekly discussions, activities, and community events. Important Note: This is a closed space facilitated by and for transgender and gender non-conforming young adults. We kindly ask to respect the space for trans people only.

Prism (Ages 18-26)

Prism welcomes all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and/or allied young adults ages 18-26. The objective of this group is to provide young adults with a safe and welcoming space, where they can meet friends and participate in engaging weekly discussions, activities, and community events.

Event Series Breakout!

Breakout! Mental Health Process Group (Ages 12-17)

Youth Process Group is an age-specific online processing group from ages 12 to 17. We meet every Tuesday night from 6:00-7:30 PM. BreakOUT is a supportive space for participants to navigate the everyday stressors in their lives. Group leaders facilitate discussions about various topics and activities such as identity, school/ home life, and more. BreakOUTs mission is to involve and engage with young LGBTQIA+ community members, allowing them to explore new strategies to cope as well as connect with their queer identity in a safe space with their peers. Drop-In Space for LGBTQ Immigrants

We want to welcome all LGBTQ+ immigrants to this Drop-in space where you can share your thoughts, feelings, resources, chisme, or anything else that you would like to share. This drop-in space will be held every Wednesday from 4:00pm-5:00pm PST via Zoom. If this time does not work for you, we can arrange another time. Queremos dar la bienvenida a todos los inmigrantes LGBTQ+ a esta 'Hora Abierta' donde pueden compartir sus pensamientos, sentimientos, recursos, chismes y cualquier otra cosa que guste compartir. Esta hora abierta va ser cada Miércoles de 4:00p.m -5:00p.m PST a través de Zoom. Si este horario no te funciona, podemos coordinar otro horario.
