VIVID: A youth leadership group that focuses on community engagement, empowerment, and advocacy. We invite LGBTQIA+ youth, students, and allies ages 14-24 who are passionate about creating positive change within their schools and communities. VIVID provides a supportive space for members to develop leadership skills, collaborate on community-focused projects, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and representation. Through VIVID, participants engage in various activities, including organizing and hosting community events and group activities. The group focuses on mentorship, peer support, and education, offering its members the opportunity to build confidence and leadership. Meets in-person on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm at the LGBTQ Center OC. Zoom option is available for youth who want to participate virtually. The purpose of the Spectrum Advisory Committee (18+) is to inform and educate the Orange County community about the effects of opioid and stimulant use prevention. This committee is part of a larger effort to support prevention, education, and outreach through a 2S/LGBTQIA+ inclusive lens.
