Youth Process Group is an age-specific online processing group from ages 12 to 17. We meet every Monday night from 5:30-7:30 PM. BreakOUT is a supportive space for participants to navigate the everyday stressors in their lives. Group leaders facilitate discussions about various topics and activities such as identity, school/ home life, and more. BreakOUTs mission is to involve and engage with young LGBTQIA+ community members, allowing them to explore new strategies to cope as well as connect with their queer identity in a safe space with their peers. Our Voice Practice Group is an opportunity to experiment with mastering vocal control. This free activity will include a combination of structured voice work and unstructured conversation. This is NOT a formal therapy group, but a loosely structured practice group that will be facilitated by a licensed speech-language pathologist. Embrace this opportunity to use your voice with supportive conversation partners outside of the therapy room! If you have not received individual therapy to better align your voice with your gender, and you would like to do so, please let us know so we can help you connect with appropriate services. Processing therapy group for transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, genderfluid, intersex, and androgynous individuals. This group provides individuals with a safe space to voice and process feelings, issues, and thoughts unique to their experiences. VIVID: A youth leadership group that focuses on community engagement, empowerment, and advocacy. We invite LGBTQIA+ youth, students, and allies ages 14-24 who are passionate about creating positive change within their schools and communities. VIVID provides a supportive space for members to develop leadership skills, collaborate on community-focused projects, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and representation. Through VIVID, participants engage in various activities, including organizing and hosting community events and group activities. The group focuses on mentorship, peer support, and education, offering its members the opportunity to build confidence and leadership. Meets in-person on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm at the LGBTQ Center OC. Zoom option is available for youth who want to participate virtually.
