Elevate Youth Leadership Group (ages 14-24)
Virtual +1 moreElevate Youth: A youth leadership group that focuses on mental health advocacy and substance use prevention advocacy through an LGBTQIA-inclusive lens. This group is committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ youth, particularly in the intersections of mental health and substance use. Elevate Youth offers a wide range of events and activities, including the development of educational campaigns that raise awareness on critical issues, as well as offering opportunities for youth leadership and community organizing. The group also prioritizes community-building and education through interactive events that bring together young people to learn, share experiences, and build supportive networks. By focusing on both advocacy and action, Elevate Youth empowers its members to become informed and active participants in their communities, driving forward the conversation on mental health, substance use prevention, and LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. Meets on Thursdays from 6:30-7:00 pm. First Thursday is in-person at the LGBTQ Center OC and all other Thursdays are virtual. Contact: justin.bartolome@lgbtqcenteroc.org

BreakOUT – Elevate (ages 12-17)
BreakOUT Youth Process Group is an age-specific online processing group from ages 12 to 17. We meet every Monday night from 6:00-7:30 PM. BreakOUT is a supportive space for participants to navigate the everyday stressors in their lives. Group leaders facilitate discussions about various topics and activities such as identity, school/ home life, and more. BreakOUT's mission is to involve and engage with young LGBTQIA+ community members, allowing them to explore new strategies to cope as well as connect with their queer identity in a safe space with their peers. VIVID- Validating and Including Voices in Diversity (ages 14-24)
The Center OC 1605 N Spurgeon St, Santa Ana, CA, United StatesVIVID: A youth leadership group that focuses on community engagement, empowerment, and advocacy. We invite LGBTQIA+ youth, students, and allies ages 14-24 who are passionate about creating positive change within their schools and communities. VIVID provides a supportive space for members to develop leadership skills, collaborate on community-focused projects, and advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusion and representation. Through VIVID, participants engage in various activities, including organizing and hosting community events and group activities. The group focuses on mentorship, peer support, and education, offering its members the opportunity to build confidence and leadership. Meets in-person on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:30 pm at the LGBTQ Center OC. Zoom option is available for youth who want to participate virtually. Immigration Consultations (Free and Virtual)
VirtualOur Immigration Consultations are free, virtual legal support sessions for low-income immigrants in California. We partner with World Relief SoCal to provide one-on-one time with a trusted legal representative. These consultations are a safe, confidential space to ask immigration questions, get guidance, and explore options. Language support is available in Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
