Tobacco Coalition (Clean Air OC)

Virtual

Clean Air OC is heavily based on community engagement. Our goal is for communities (such as Cypress and La Palma) to be involved in civic policies that aim for healthier outcomes through Tobacco Cessation and Prevention. Our coalition meetings act as a space to discuss how best to implement our strategies to catch the attention of community residents and important decision makers, for our Community Engagement Agreement recipients to update us on their progress toward reaching our goals, to plan our Tobacco Advocacy Day, and all that assists in reaching our goal of creating healthy and breathable air.

Our Voice Practice Group is an opportunity to experiment with mastering vocal control. This free activity will include a combination of structured voice work and unstructured conversation. This is NOT a formal therapy group, but a loosely structured practice group that will be facilitated by a licensed speech-language pathologist. Embrace this opportunity to use your voice with supportive conversation partners outside of the therapy room! If you have not received individual therapy to better align your voice with your gender, and you would like to do so, please let us know so we can help you connect with appropriate services. The practice group will meet once a month on Mondays virtually over Zoom. To register, please visit: bit.ly/VPG_CenterOC Reach out to us with questions at riley.williams@lgbtqcenteroc.org.
