In partnership with UCI, our virtual Trans* Orientation includes information about what it means to identify as a transgender individual; services and resources our Center provides for the Trans* community, and other resources that can be found within Orange County. This orientation is for Transgender folks and ally community members in and around Orange County. Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Genderflood is a social drop-in group for transgender, genderqueer, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and gender-questioning young adults ages 18-26. The aim is to create a supportive and inclusive environment in which one’s gender may be freely expressed and respected. Get involved, meet others, and participate in engaging weekly discussions, activities, and community events! Quartz is a social and educational group designed for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies ages 13-17. It offers a welcoming space where participants can explore and celebrate their identities through interactive activities and group discussions. Quartz provides a sense of community, with a focus on youth meeting peers, learning about LGBTQIA+ topics, and participating in activities and discussions. The group emphasizes inclusivity and supports each participant's journey in discovering and affirming their unique self.
Prism welcomes all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and/or allied young adults ages 18-26. The objective of this group is to provide young adults with a safe and welcoming space, where they can meet friends and participate in engaging weekly discussions, activities, and community events.
OUTlet meets virtually/in person every Tuesday at 7:00pm-8:30pm. OUTlet is designed to offer a nurturing space haven for LGBTQIA2S+ young adults between the ages 18 to 26. Here, individuals can freely explore mental health concerns, cultivate enriching relationships, and gain personal insights. Through evidence based strategies and peer support, OUTlet aims to equip participants with sustainable coping skills for long-term mental health management.
