  • Adult Voice Practice Group

    Adult Voice Practice Group

    Our Voice Practice Group is an opportunity to experiment with mastering vocal control. This free activity will include a combination of structured voice work and unstructured conversation. This is NOT a formal therapy group, but a loosely structured practice group that will be facilitated by a licensed speech-language pathologist. Embrace this opportunity to use your voice with supportive conversation partners outside of the therapy room! If you have not received individual therapy to better align your voice with your gender, and you would like to do so, please let us know so we can help you connect with appropriate services.   • OUTlet – Elevate (ages 18-26)

    OUTlet is intended to create a safe space for youth to talk about mental health issues, create healthy relationships with others, and learn tools to understand, manage, and decrease symptoms of mental health. This group will teach youth how to build insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and learn how to communicate their needs and wants in a healthy assertive manner. Lastly, with an emphasis on maladaptive coping skills including self-medicating with substances, isolating, or engaging in risky behaviors, youth will learn to develop coping skills needed to manage symptoms on a long-term basis. OUTlet meets virtually and in person  every Tuesday at 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

    This group is a safe space for individuals of all Asian and Pacific Islander descent (ages 18+) to meet and freely discuss experiences being Queer/API and what that means. We bring up current events, as well as help each other process things that may be happening in their community. We ask that all participants treat one another respectfully no matter what their views may be on different topics.

    The Parent's Processing Group is a therapeutic group where parents can work together on processing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with their children coming out, being in the LGBTQ community, gain peer insight from other parents, and reflect on difficulties based on parenting a child in the community. This is a free and open group for any parents who are interested in joining

  • Elevate Youth Leadership Group (ages 14-24)

    Elevate Youth:  A youth leadership group that focuses on mental health advocacy and substance use prevention advocacy through an LGBTQIA-inclusive lens. This group is committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ youth, particularly in the intersections of mental health and substance use. Elevate Youth offers a wide range of events and activities, including the development of educational campaigns that raise awareness on critical issues, as well as offering opportunities for youth leadership and community organizing. The group also prioritizes community-building and education through interactive events that bring together young people to learn, share experiences, and build supportive networks. By focusing on both advocacy and action, Elevate Youth empowers its members to become informed and active participants in their communities, driving forward the conversation on mental health, substance use prevention, and LGBTQIA+ inclusivity.
